Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the west in a fantastic game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players play with other players. By betting against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about other, more advanced gamblers winning their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, newcomers should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied selections.

It’s also easier to gamble on for a very long time with only a little bit of cash since, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the house receives seven cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
