Howard Lederer was born into in a family of five where he enjoyed participating in different card games at a young age. He found himself getting really aggressive in these particular card games while playing his father. The Mayfair was a bridge and backgammon club where the the most favorable gamblers would frequently challenge one another. He had access into several of the greatest players in chess. Howard Lederer also helped his sibling Annie Duke learn poker. Annie Duke was a superb student of the game as she constantly asked questions about the right way to make the proper choice. Howard moved to Las Vegas in Nineteen Ninety Three and participated in cash games for the following decade. When the WPT gained popularity, Howard made the decision to compete in more tournaments.
