Internet poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the other gamblers receive five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, including an amount on par with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pony’s up money even with your initial bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
